The significance of #time to being.
#Time is part of the #transparent #background of being here that for the most part we don't notice.
I wonder if what matters to #god is not Good and Evil so much as the #dramatic #narrative . (a.k.a. the "story arc")
Understanding everything : ie. understanding everything #ITSELF
Unstanding what everything #IS
Everything is different than every thing (which is a merely a "very long" list)
Understanding #everything #as #being itself.
Understanding everything as being everything.
Understanding the #meaning of everything itself .
Heidegger and Ontotheology : Is Everything the same as God ?
Is god the same as Being?
Buddhism : Is everything the same as nothing ?
Is god understandable in terms of Being?

We have to start somewhere.
(or do we?)
Why does it matter whether or not we understand everything ?
The unknowable.
Intro to the #Philosophy of #Mathematics (Ray Monk) - YouTube
Emily prefers me to read Heidegger to her than Alan Turing. (Although Heidegger is very boring, Alan Turing is even more boring.)
There are all kinds of things she would prefer. But I was struck by her discernment in respect of relative merits of two different kinds of boring.
Is the world good or bad or indifferent? Good and bad are human things, not aspects of the world. The world is quite happy to tolerate human happiness, but it has no objection to human suffering.
So I tend to think that God must be rather indifferent to human ideas of good and bad. And what human's think of as good and bad are human notions, not anything that God is that bothered about.
God, for example, is sometimes said to be perfectly good, and so we have the problem of how we account for a world that has got plenty of not-good things in it.
"The meaning of life, in other words the meaning of the world, we can call 'God' " ~L. Wittgenstein

I think this is what Atheists mean when they say "there is no evidence for God" ... There is no evidence for some thing (or process) in the universe which we would be inclined to call "God" as opposed to any of the other things which are not that thing (or process).
Whatever God is, the one thing that God is very likely not to be is a Thing (nor a even a process ... ie. not either the activity of some thing or set of things) (in particular not an initiating process, like a first cause un-moved mover)
If, whereas, you say "God" is the meaning of the world, then you don't fall into any of those traps. You immediately get a clear understanding of some(non)thing that God could be. So thinking of God this way gives you a foot-in-the-door useful access to God and enhances your relationship with her... Not a place to get stuck, but a place to move on from.
When it comes to things, the only thing that might have any chance of being God would be the universe itself, but that doesn't seem to be entirely satisfying... probably because it is still too tangible, and because humans are bad at thinking of things in a way that includes their temporality. And also because an infinite number of multi-verses is a lot to take in for a bloke with a brain that evolved from a monkey last Thursday.
Following a polytheistic line of thought, it might be better to say that "God is the meanings (emphasis on the plural) of the world" ... then we are not getting stuck in thinking that there is some one meaning (or only one God).

That's life, that's what all the people say... riding high in April, shot down in May. But I know they're gonna change their tune. When I'm back on top, back on top, in maybe late July, or August, or soon after that, we hope.
I have been living vicariously through myself.
I suppose, thinking a little more carefully, there is both an absolute and a relative aspect to wealth.
I'm thinking about whether money is a number or a ratio, and I'm tending to think it is a ratio.
This would explain why people who have a high ratio really don't like it when poor people get richer.
